Gotta Start Somewhere

Here it is. My first post. I can’t tell you how long I’ve been wanting to start this blog. I would always come up with excuses… WordPress is too complicated. I can’t find a good webpage template to use. It’s going to take too long to set up. I don’t have time to post each week. Who would really want to read this blog, anyway?
Well, forget all that. Negative/Perfectionist Chelsea has been taking over for too long. It’s time to balance the negative with the positive and just do it. I’m starting somewhere.
WordPress is too complicated. – WordPress is complicated, but I’ll only learn it if I use it consistently.
I can’t find a good webpage template to use. – I’ve chosen this template, but it may change in the future. And that’s ok.
It’s going to take too long to set up. – It didn’t take that long to set up. I set this blog up while doing my laundry on this rainy Sunday night. And I committed to it… I bought the domain name, and a WordPress Bundle. Spending money on things really does make you commit.
I don’t have time to post each week. – I have time to post each week. I have a busy life, but I will schedule time to post each week. However, it’s not the end of the world if I don’t write a post one week.
Who would really want to read this blog, anyway? – Well, my clients, my friends, and my family will read it. That’s who this blog is for. I want to write about my opinions and experiences with fitness and food. I want to reach people that I care about that seek my advice about fitness and health. I want to help people lead healthier lives. As a personal trainer, I’m doing that one person, one hour at a time. But I know that I can reach further and wider with this blog. And it starts with this first post.
Balance the Chaos.
